from Medford, NJ on 9/4/2008The best pair of rainbows I have gotten by far. This is my third pair, all different styles, and they are so comfortable and do not require any breaking in. My other two pairs I spent many days wearing them with sore feet to get them comfortable. I just wish they were a little wider. I have a narrow foot and this is really narrow. I have heard the if you order the men's size it would be a normal women's width. I also wish there were more sizes. I'm on the bottom end of a large so I think I got a little more in the front and back than I would like. Overall though not a huge problem and I still love the shoe.

from Tempe, AZ on 7/21/2008My only complaint about these sandals is that when I first put them on, they were very tight on my feet and gave me blisters after just a few minutes' use. I've heard great things about Rainbows, as well as that they take a while to get to their maximum comfort, so I kept wearing them, and now they're nearly perfect. It only took a little while for the leather to get stretched out to where my feet fit in them just right (after all, leather's a natural product, so it will stretch, and I applaud Rainbow for taking this into consideration). I love how the sandals look (and now feel), and I would recommend them to anyone. To those who have purchased these and quit wearing them because they too tight at first, keep trying! It'll be worth it!
from Las Vegas, NV on 7/3/2008I received them today I was very excited with all the great reviews, & they are Very cute, love the look. But, they seem so heavy for a shoe that flops. I'm not so sure about having all that weight flopping up & down won't be uncomfortable. They are heavier than my regular full shoes that are attached to the heel. Also I wear a size 8-8 1/2. I orderd the Large size 7 1/2-8 1/2 and they seem to be a 1/2 size too big. Not really sure if I will return for the single stack & smaller size yet.
I love my rainbows. They are so comfortable, I have back and leg problems and can't wear heels. These give me stylish alternative and always feel good on my feet. I have both the single sole and double sole. Love them both!!!

I searched everywhere for 302's with narrow straps - then I found islandsurf.com! I wear these whenever I am not in the office and I couldn't be happier. My Rainbows have MANY passport stamps, and I would never go ANYWHERE without them. Went to Israel for 2 weeks, only took my rainbows!

I have lots and lots of flip flops but I ALWAYS go for my rainbows first!!

from Glenside, PA on 2/19/2008It takes a few weeks to break in Rainbows, but they are completely worth the effort! I had my last pair for over 2 years, and they are still going strong. The grey color is great- it's a dark clay color.

from Arizona on 2/2/2008Oh how I just wanted to love these!!! They are super cushy and the arch support is top-notch. I wear a 10 and I ordered the XL, which is supposed to fit 8 1/2 - 9 1/2. The length is perfect, but the width of the sole is way too narrow. Yes, the straps are snug, but not at all uncomfortable, and they will definitely stretch as the sandal molds to the foot. Unfortunately my pinky toe hangs completely over the edge of the sole - that's how narrow the base is. I don't wear a wide shoe, so I just don't get why they are so narrow on me.
If you have narrow feet, run out and buy several pairs of these super comfortable flips.

I will never buy another brand of flip flops except RAINBOW. I wish I had ever color you make.Forgot to tell ya...I keep them at the shop and even wear them in the winter and where I live in VA it can get down to 10 degrees. Thanks for the exceptional great product.

When going to class could mean a 15 minute walk, I needed durable sandals to get me there. Not to mention, my sandals are exceedingly cute. They are right now my all-time favorite pair of sandals.

For weeks I was so sore and could only wear my running shoes for everything. Being the type of girl who only wears runnung shoes to run, I found this to totally cramp my style. Also, I live in the HOT South so I needed an alternative. Enter Rainbow sandals. I ordered them and after a few days of wearing ONLY my Rainbows I found a new best friend. They wear well and become your own custom sandals within days. I'm in college and realize spending [$] for a pair of flip flops seems a bit much, but I assure you, IT IS WORTH IT! This is the first pair I've purchased with a narrow strap, and I like them even more than the wide strap. I love the extra arch support the double stack sole provides, best flip-flop I've ever tried. You can wear them all day comfortably, and they go with everything! Great shoe!

I love my rainbows-they're the best [$] I have ever spent on shoes. I wear them almost every day, they're so comfortable. My only complaint is that the womens sizes are extremely narrow. In normal shoes I do not wear wide sizes, but I wish Rainbows would come in wide sizes. I ended up having to buy a mens small size (which is a bit too big, especially in the straps) Overall, I still love them.
