Founded in 1969 by surfers Brian “Sing Ding” Singer and Doug “Claw” Warbrick in a quiet Victorian coastal town as a vehicle to help fund their surfing lifestyle, Rip Curl has now become a well known international manufacturer of high quality surfboards, surf gear, and apparel. Now, nearly 40 years later, Rip Curl continues to stick to its grass roots upbringing, and continues to use the fuel provided by “The Search” to provide inspiration in their progression and design of the latest in high quality surf products and apparel with an added touch of Aussie flare.
